@MultiRiffer When Barry 4-bet pre-flop so quickly and so confidently, then fired a c-bet on the flop. Voulgaris decided he had Aces.
He wasn’t thinking Q’s, because Barry would’ve thought longer after Voulgaris re-raised preflop if he had Q’s.
Basically, Barry was a good actor and convinced Voulgaris that he had Aces. It worked
@MultiRiffer I’m guessing that he read Barry as having a big pair, like AA or QQ, because of the preflop betting (Barry G is not, by reputation, a loose player). So when the Q hit on the flop, and Barry bet out, he must have felt he was behind. Then what’s he drawing to? One of the remaining two Ks to get a set?
I’m just drawing assumptions. It’s a lot different when you can’t see both players cards 🙂
