Exactly.. the raises are just a guide I use but I do raise according to the situation. Against some players I will raise 2.5x with all hands, against some, I raise 3x .

I raise larger with AA-KK-AK against weak/unknown players, because they don’t know whats going on anyways. against a smart opponent you can be sure it will be a 2.5x

I don’t like the guys limp w QQ either, but not because ‘it won’t give hime enough info’, just because I don’t ever like openlimping regardless of my hand. With 18 BB effective stacks QQ against AA is just a cooler, and there’s no escaping getting stacked.

I don’t like how you say you open 2.5x w/ like TT-QQ, but full 3x w/ AA, KK. Against all bad players it’s OK, but the good, observant opponents can exploit it. Plus there’s no reason for it. Just always open 3x or always open 2.5x.

However, you can adjust your opening size by position, as this doesn’t reveal anything about your hand. At 50/100 lvl I usually open 3x from EP and 2.4-2.7x from M-LP.
