What the hell? Thats not how you do statistics at all. Dont listen to this dumb fucker, its really closer to 68%

34 non-overcards/ 50 cards = .68, meaning if one card is flipped there is a 68% chance that it isnt an overcard. To find a rough estimate that there will be no overcards after three flips, do .68^3. This gives us about .32, meaning there is a 68% chance of there being at least one overcard on the flop.

@MangoPopper i’m pretty sure your right and i think there is an easier way to do it but i forget at the moment but there is a much easier way to get a rough estimate

jeez man, he is a poker player not an entertainer, its more important what he says than how he says it

    I don’t get it. Isn’t his math wrong? I get 70%!
The chance of getting a 10 or less on the first flop card is 34/50 (since there are 34 cards 10 or lower that you haven’t seen of the total of 50 cards you haven’t seen). The chance of getting 10 or less on all three flop cards is 34/50 * 33/49 * 32/48, which is 30%. So the chance of this *not* happening, i.e. the chance of getting one or more cards over 10, is 100% – 30% = 70%. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but it sounds like he’s way off!
