The truth is this wasn’t really a brave raise because by this point Haxton had a dead read.
Don’t show that. That would’ve been soo much sicker if he just let that go. Play it sooo cool.
A nice bluff, especially for 2007 or whenever this was, but actually I think most top pros today would 3bet ship this as a standard assuming they had the read that he’d check back a Q on the flop and wouldn’t slowplay turn, which is how the normal person would play it, and I’m sure is the read that Ike had.

they pretty much knew they both had garbage but yoiureally cant call with 7 hi and certainly not 3 hi, you’re only chance at winning it is by re-raise/shoving, it’d be interestin if Daut had J or even 10 hi

How is this better than Iveys hand after Ivey 5 BET shoved into Jackson’s hand? Bet, raise, re-raise, re-re-raise and the shove with Q8 trumps this hand – but this is one of my faves here by Isaac….
