i laugh everytime i hear doyles voice when he says” raise” lol. and elizra just fell for it big time. personally im never folding trip queens

  • 18 January 20122:18 pm rjohson

I think these pro poker players are all over rated, i wouldnt even call this a trap, all he did was check the flop which i would of done against 1 person eliiot taaught the queens were good when the the jack fell doyal done right to check becuae elleio t could of esily had queen jack.. nothing sectacular about this play

@stephenjones102 your a fucking idiot!! that was a bad call preflop with q 2 and a HORRIBLE call on the river

  • 18 January 20123:14 pm stephenjones102

Wow. That is one tough beat. I feel sorry for Eli. That was more bad luck for Eli than skill from Doyle.

  • 18 January 20123:41 pm foyah

that right there is what we call in my parts a “bear trap” lmao

  • 18 January 20124:35 pm Chrish2213UK

I think 99.99% of players woud have done then same.
You have to consider the HOURS of play before this hand, a true trap like this needs history !

@REKKA2K8 No, Elezera had 3 queens with a Jack 5 kicker
Doyle had a full house with 555QQ, now if Elezera had any hand standards and played a Queen Jack on that hand, he would have boated and beat Doyle. Doyle was risking him having a better full house but he would have had to have had QJ, Q5, pocket queens etc. and that was unlikely, even though it happens frequently in the game of poker.

This is old school poker-love, back in his days there were no condoms 😀

  • 18 January 20126:30 pm FreakyGirl3333

Meh if Doyle bets 25-30 on the turn then 65-70 on the river its a better outcome

  • 18 January 20126:31 pm steveparok00

GENIUS play by doyle, those 2 checks were great traps!

  • 18 January 20126:47 pm MrSimonvk

Doyle Brunson is playing so well every time. Never any mistakes.

  • 18 January 20127:17 pm MrAimsworth

    Eli Elezra disliked this video

    @malayrojak NO; RIP

  • 18 January 20128:07 pm 2pacisgoDIamOJ

after eli bet 15 doyal say LOOK KID WE PLAYIng FOR 55k you bet 15?” now pay 55 more bitch ahahahahaha

  • 18 January 20128:28 pm Johntzik

@donmajikjuan he does that because he is more certain for his hand…not because he is afraid or anything…and he saw Doyle check-raising on the flop,he doesn’t want to make the pot too big…But in the end he can’t resist to bet,so would anyone, after two cheks,on turn and river by doyle…

  • 18 January 20129:07 pm Xalaization

    @REKKA2K8
    full house 555/QQ maybe? 😀

  • 18 January 20129:39 pm REKKA2K8

3 queens at 3 5;s dosent that mean elezra shoudl of won?

  • 18 January 20129:55 pm donmajikjuan

eli elezra is a boss for one main reason : that check behind on the turn.

  • 18 January 201210:16 pm TRexBAKARoSe

with AQ or KQ elez is beat ! but the checks on the turn&river are very tricky…

  • 18 January 201210:22 pm Cdub2k

I think Doyle would got more out of Eli with a bet on the turn and River. He almost confused Eli and he almost folded.

  • 18 January 201210:30 pm flip92

    play q2 see what happens

  • 18 January 201211:28 pm bobzani

@vinonardon You’re right; Doyle would never bluff Eli in that situation.

  • 18 January 201211:52 pm bobzani

Regardless of his age, Doyle is still as solid a player as anyone.

  • 18 January 201211:55 pm mrt110883

I really dislike Eli’s bet on the river. When it’s checked to him, what does he expect to get value from? Maybe Aspades Jspades. All other hands that Doyle could have would be bluffs, and if he’s only counting on getting bluff-raised and calling, that isn’t really great value.
