@1skullduggery I didn’t know PAD ended, that’s too bad. Hopefully similar shows will come =) I’m sure they will… the question is when?

i wish there were some current episodes of hsp. and why did poker after dark end. i LOVED that show. also, after black friday, thar p-stars sponsered ‘big game’ sadly ended. joe stapleton was an excellent commentator. his knowledge of cash game play surpassed any other host by miles. you could practically learn the game just by listening to him. at least the wpt is still on on tuesdays. mike sexton is a great player and host.

@1skullduggery I think he definitely feared a check raise. However, checking the turn with top pair on that board is really weak. I think if Robyl had a monster on the flop he would always continuation bet because checking is very dangerous as peat will gladly take free cards. For that reason, I think Robyl is looking to check raise almost never on the flop, turn or river. However, I do think Robyl is capable of many tricky plays so I do undestand Peat’s caution.

peat has a lot of respect for robl’s game. they have played a bunch online. perhaps he feared a check-raise from robl. maybe he has been trapped by robl in the past.

@valv3 Is it possible, that Peat is putting Robl on overpair?

  • 23 December 20116:39 pm PokerChampCoaching

@valv3 Haha, what a coincidence =) Always such a fun show to watch.

@PlayDaGaimz If Robyl had a hand with no showdown value I think he would have tried to take Peat off the hand at some point. That is an interesting point you bring up though, perhaps you are right =) Although I think it’s always best to make a value bet, especially when that bet can net you $5000 from a moderate hand =)

  • 23 December 20117:53 pm PlayDaGaimz

I thought he was checking to see what robl raised out of sb with
