@lordhuebi Yep, I admit I’m generalising. But having played a lot of Spanish, Italian & Eastern european players on line, they do tend to be rip, sh!t & bust players.

@Tehui1974 don’t get me wrong though, it’s a terrible play…it’s typical fish, not typical european…cause again, there is no such thing

@Tehui1974 there are about 50 different countries in europe, all with completely differential cultures…if you really think there is a “typical european” then…well I don’t know what then, go figure 🙂 …

SI es muy buen call pero también es verdad que se le nota el farol, da muchas pistas y Mercier si pierde aún puede sguir jugando… pero buen call ojo.

Typical european poker player. Too aggressive with hot air, and they get owned in the long run.

Koskas was far too demonstrative in his actions…standing up immediately, pacing, continuously drinking. His eyes and body language suggested that he was desperate to win this hand…so desperate that he’s probably bluffing. Mercier took his time to fully read that and it paid off for him.

I would think he had nothing too, but wouldn’t call anyway with a pair of 5, just in case he played a weird pocket pair. Koskas didn’t feel very confident on TV too.
All in all, awesome hero call.

koska bluffs the straight on the turn, and then goes all in when a 2nd 8 shows up, suggesting he was bluffing on the turn. it’s obvious he has nothing
