On this first example: 507+380=887 divide 380. He almost says 3:1 but the answer is 7:3. It is because if you divide 7/3=2.333 same as 887/380=2.333.

these odds are much harder to calculate than the percentage, so why do peole complicate it ?! More so when u don’t really need to know the exact odds !

@TheCheesecar It depends on what is in the pot, your position and your opponent. If you have a 32% chance of hitting on the turn, and lets say that the pot was 75$, your oppenent bets 25$, making the pot $100. You have a 32% chance of hitting your card. To win the pot with your hit card, you should bet around 32% of the pot. You only have to call $25, so thats 25% of the pot, so you’re in favour so far really. You could also raise a small bit if you think you can knock your opponent off the hand
