@aklsuinnow 15 dollars and under, it is the right decision to call, but any higher, it is not.

@aklsuinnow but the point is, there are no implied odds, if the person simply flat calls a $23 bet, the only hands you can put them on are the straight draw or the flush draw, flat calling a 23 dollar bet with top pair or even 2 pair are not advised on a board like that, therefore, the only way you could call it implied odds is if you have the flush draw and a king or an 8 hit the board, even then, the 2 pairer is likely to only call on the river. In the long run, you make money from theopponent

It might actually be the right decision to call that 15$ bet with a flush draw against top two pair, if the other player thinks, he can get payed of, if he hits his flush. It’s called “implied odds”.

@RockChalk911 – not quite sure if you want to go up against 4 players to the river w/ a big pot. Bet big and only players likely to remain are ones holding AK, AQ, AJ, A10, A3. Only scare card then would be another A or K.

@adolfolicious with that many people in the pot and a flush draw on board, slow playing a small set is a horrible play. You should be betting on a flop like that to get some of the players out of the hand and to build the pot so that drawing isn’t cheap on the turn and free on the flop. You want a strong ace to call you or to force anyone with a flush draw to pay more than they should be paying to try to draw out.

I probably would too, but how much better would it be if the other guy had an ace, and you bet like you had a king. Now that would be sick.
