  They way it played out preflop, Ly should have check-raised with the AQ when he hit his A. Most likely his hand would have been good plus it would have given him more information about Cantu’s hand. Just an inexperienced player

  if u have AQ and hit an ace theres nothing u can do about it. if they have ace king or a set like u said u have to pay them off. If u lay down a monster everytime thinking that someone has the nuts, u cant play poker that way.

  I reckon if you’re Ly you have to pay off A-K or a set, in the long run you’re going to getting your money in with the best hand. Also A-10 is highly unlikely because only a donk would call a tight players re-raise with that hand. But then again it’s still a tough decision, can’t blame him for folding
