  I really like Joe Hachem, one of the few amateurs to win the World Series who has actually achieved other successes afterwards. What the hell has Moneymaker or Gold done? Other than annoy most of the internet poker fans in the case of Gold.

  I think ‘medical problems’ refers to his mental health problems, for which he received treatment recently. A lot of people lost money in the PokerSpot Scam – I’ve found it hard to respect him since then.
