  yes, but when it comes to poker, theres no skill involved, anyone who says otherwise is a fool. if poker was “skill” we’d see ALOT more “poker pro’s” winning.

  i would say 80% luck and 20% skill………….if that.

  AS ALWAYS ,Lon MacEachern and Chad Norman are superb , in bringing the real humanistic feel and struggle of every day at the 2006 WSOP…Their verbal jousting and analysis ,to me ,..is THE essential part of every year’s tournament…..They “become” the sympathetic-on-camera characters of Johnny Chan,Phil Ivey , Phil Helmuth, Antonio Esfandiary, Daniel Negraneau,Allan Cuningham, Texas Dolly and “everyman and everywoman” entered for the chance of a lifetime… wondrous stuff and we THANK you..

  in 5:26 when jamie makes the call, he sais “im sorry”, throws his cards to board and then says “i call”. I think that could be judged as a fold, if we would be tight? I think Prahlad Friedman or some other sneaky player might have tried that trick. Rules are rules, its war in those tables.

  all the hate on gold yet if they were in his shoes idt they would say it…he did beat the biggest field ever at the main event and caused a rule change called the jamie gold rule by poker players and ik he ran amazing but this turny is 8 days 12 hours a day he still had to earn it
