@prase73 Geez, those who call Eastgate a bad player who only got lucky really dont know poker. To win any tournament you need luck, skill and timing. Without one of them you’re screwed. Demidov for exemple, was all-in and had 4 outs vs Rheem earlier in the tournament.. He hit it on the river. Again, skill, timing and luck are the keys. And it’s true what they say, good player gets lucky. And remember, they showed maybe 0.1% of Eastgates hands in the tournament. Both of them deserved to win imo.

phillips was a lot better in 2009. he must’ve seen how badly he played on tv. cada was incredibly lucky and wished he had lost, but he isn’t a donk. he’s actually a respectable online player. made some horrible plays at the ft though

@girlie347 yeah, only if he knew that. he knew eastgate was weak before the river, and the 5 was very unlikely to have hit him. it was a nice bluff, he just got unlucky on the river. i’m sure he put eastgate on a weak pair or something, and for sure eastgate was going to fold if he had any other pocket pair below TT.

@kikkers123 really cannot understand Ylon’s bluff, what he is pretend to have? What is putting Eastgate on when he strongly bet for value the river? Betting pattern of Ylon is quite dry: Only call preflop (no KK), check the flop, check the turn, check-raise allin the river, with what?

I cant understand Schwartz bluff, really, anyone has an explanation for it? Only call preflop. Check the flop, Check the turn, Check-raise allin the river! Whit what ? K-x ? And didnt bet the flop with a flush draw out there? Ok he is out of position and could have weak king and dont want to be reraised. But on the turn? Then, what Scwartz is putting Eastgate on? He thinks he’s stealing? In this case a small reraise would have been enough. What Eastgate can possibly bet strong here?

It was a great bluff by Shwartz.
Peter got nothing but luck, twice a player allin bluffs for a huge amount when peter has basicly the nuts..
